Although it was a 20-year career as a graphic designer and art director within the specialty foods world in which Matt got his start, it was the photographic process that energized, thrilled, and motivated him enough to trade in the cubicle for a camera.

Now as a photographer, Matt captures the moment and tells the story of food within the frame for a variety of editorial and advertising clients as well as various cookbook publishers and publications. Matt is based in Los Angeles, California.
